Line of Events
It follows three very different families who compete for the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present). I was skeptical but hopeful when I saw the casting, and I’m happy to say that they exceeded all expectations. The pacing is just right, striking a balance that fits well with the drama/thriller genre. The story is deep and engaging, and I never felt like I was being held back. The characters are cleverly crafted modern upper-class caricatures, and their portrayals become increasingly humorous as the story progresses. The dialogue feels natural and helps bring the characters to life. The visuals are simple but effective, adding to the overall feel of the story without trying too hard.
