After hearing all the hype and seeing that it was one of the most-watched series worldwide, I finally found time to watch Squid Game. I must admit that I had a blast watching it and was very entertained throughout the season. It’s about hundreds of contestants (who are down on their luck and in need of money) who are asked to play children’s games for a chance to win a huge amount of money, 45.6 billion won (about $33 million). The only thing is that these children’s games are now all deadly and the last contestant standing wins all the money. It will draw you into its world and before you know it, you’ll be hooked. It’s a thriller with plenty of twists and plenty of violence. This is a show that will stay in your mind long after you’ve watched it. I know it’s already been renewed for other seasons, so I hope they can keep the same magic they had in the first season. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
